What are you waiting for??!&#8217;\u201d Allen said, as covered by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/1410870\/josh-allen-shares-sweet-insight-into-his-proposal-to-hailee-steinfeld\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">E! News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_7-0\">\u201cI replied, \u2018Just give me a little more time.\u2019 Little did you know I was about to propose to you.\u201d <\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>While cool on the outside, the 28-year-old Allen was anxious that the surprise would be spoiled. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think I was most nervous about you finding out about the proposal,\u201d he wrote. \u201cIt was hard to keep secrets from you and have other people in your life keep secrets from you. Multiple times throughout the day, a song would come on and I would tear up thinking about how special our day was going to be.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld in Paris. <span class=\"credit\">Best Image \/ BACKGRID<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>To ward off the butterflies, Allen memorized the script of how he would propose beforehand. <\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_20-0\">\u201cI said I couldn\u2019t wait any longer,\u201d Allen, who has quarterbacked the Bills to a 10-2 start, remembered. \u201cI said I can\u2019t wait to start a family with you. I said your full name, and I asked you very nicely.
