Google reportedly filed a lawsuit to block the <a href=\"https:\/\/files.consumerfinance.gov\/f\/documents\/cfpb_Publication-Redacted-Decision-and-Order-Designating-Google-Payment-for-Su_6EZQyMz.pdf\">CFPB\u2019s order<\/a>, which could result in routine inspections and monitoring like those imposed on banks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph mb-20 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1 selection:bg-franklin-20 dark:text-white dark:selection:bg-blurple [&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-franklin dark:[&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-blurple [&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-black dark:[&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-white\">The agency found that Google\u2019s error resolution and fraud prevention processes pose risks to consumers, citing consumer complaints about Google Pay Balance and Google\u2019s peer-to-peer payments.
