{"id":134613,"date":"2024-12-08T05:52:09","date_gmt":"2024-12-07T22:52:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hotvideos24.online\/?p=134613"},"modified":"2024-12-08T05:52:09","modified_gmt":"2024-12-07T22:52:09","slug":"several-killed-in-explosion-in-the-hague-dw-12-07-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hotvideos24.online\/?p=134613","title":{"rendered":"Several killed in explosion in The Hague \u2013 DW \u2013 12\/07\/2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-3711241968723425\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\r\n     data-ad-layout-key=\"-fb+5w+4e-db+86\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3711241968723425\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7910942971\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>A massive explosion and raging fire claimed the lives of at least three people in T<a class=\"internal-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dw.com\/en\/the-hague\/t-38843189\">he Hague<\/a>, <a class=\"internal-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dw.com\/en\/the-netherlands\/t-19131391\">Netherlands<\/a>, on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>As firefighters battled the blaze from the ground and from cherry-pickers, ambulances carted off the wounded to hospitals already on standby while police helicopters circled above.<\/p>\n<p>After the fire was extinguished, construction equipment was used to clear debris as teams with rescue dogs scoured the site.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities warned residents not to open windows and advised turning off ventilation systems due to the heavy smoke produced by the blaze.<\/p>\n<p>The Hague Mayor Jan van Zanen told reporters that five houses had been destroyed in the incident, the cause of which remains unclear at this time.<\/p>\n<h2>Little hope of finding survivors<\/h2>\n<p>Mayor van Zanen said he held little hope that more survivors would be found.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are preparing for the worst-case scenario,&#8221; said van Zanen.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It is not known how many people are still under the rubble.
