{"id":134861,"date":"2024-12-08T22:21:45","date_gmt":"2024-12-08T15:21:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hotvideos24.online\/?p=134861"},"modified":"2024-12-08T22:21:45","modified_gmt":"2024-12-08T15:21:45","slug":"lando-norris-wins-abu-dhabi-grand-prix-for-mclaren-to-seal-constructors-title","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hotvideos24.online\/?p=134861","title":{"rendered":"Lando Norris wins Abu Dhabi Grand Prix for McLaren to seal constructors&#8217; title"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-3711241968723425\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\r\n     data-ad-layout-key=\"-fb+5w+4e-db+86\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3711241968723425\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7910942971\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\"><b class=\"ssrcss-1xjjfut-BoldText e5tfeyi3\">Lando Norris secured McLaren&#8217;s first Formula 1 constructors&#8217; championship for 26 years with victory in the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Norris led from start to finish and his fourth win of the season was enough to seal the championship by 13 points, despite Ferrari finishing second and third with Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Leclerc&#8217;s brilliant drive after starting 19th on the grid kept the tension high &#8211; had anything happened to Norris&#8217; car, Ferrari would have clinched the title.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Lewis Hamilton took fourth place in his final race for Mercedes, passing team-mate George Russell with six corners of the race to go. <\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Hamilton did doughnuts on the pit straight after crossing the line and then took a few moments with his car, collecting his thoughts, before congratulating Norris and McLaren F1 boss Zak Brown and consoling Sainz and Leclerc.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The anxiety for McLaren started at the first corner when Norris&#8217; team-mate Oscar Piastri, who had qualified second to the Briton, was tapped into a spin by Red Bull&#8217;s Max Verstappen. The world champion was given a 10-second penalty for causing the incident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">That put Piastri to the back of the field and left McLaren&#8217;s hopes hanging on Norris.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Leclerc increased McLaren&#8217;s nerves with a stunning first lap, in which he gained a remarkable 11 places, including passing five cars in one go approaching the chicane at Turns Six and Seven.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Leclerc&#8217;s climb continued, as he passed the Haas drivers Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg and Fernando Alonso&#8217;s Aston Martin, and then after his pit stop on lap 20 Pierre Gasly&#8217;s Alpine.
