An investigation is ongoing into her cause of death, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sfgate.com\/bayarea\/article\/disney-influencer-dies-california-event-19967183.php\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">reported<\/a> SFGate.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1eu361v\">In a statement made to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrity-news\/news\/influencer-dominique-brown-dies-of-food-allergy-at-age-34\/\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">Us Weekly<\/a> , BoxLunch said: \u201cWe are devastated by the passing of Dominique Brown, a beloved member of the BoxLunch Collective, who suffered a medical emergency at an event hosted by BoxLunch Thursday in Los Angeles. Our hearts go out to her family and friends, and we will do everything we can to support them and the members of the BoxLunch Collective and our team during this painful time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1eu361v\">An unnamed source told Us Weekly that 911 was called immediately and that the company alerted the venue of food allergies of all guests. In Brown\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DDK-jZuzd5x\/?hl=en\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">last Instagram post<\/a>, she wore a Winnie the Pooh sweater, crediting BoxLunch.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1eu361v\">A People Magazine reporter at the event <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/dominique-brown-dead-after-reported-allergic-reaction-disney-influencer-was-34-8757920\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">said<\/a> CPR was immediately administered on Brown at the event. She had most recently attended the Disney premiere of the film Moana 2.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1eu361v\">\u201cThis didn\u2019t have to happen. \ud83d\ude14\u2026it just didn\u2019t,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.threads.net\/@blackgirldisney\/post\/DDK72S3TowV?xmt=AQGzFDB29Y5ZrnyhPZ7AxOeoV4dkHH0v8riG9k3A64P4VWo\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">wrote <\/a>a friend of Brown\u2019s on Threads posting photos of them together.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1eu361v\">Brown\u2019s brother in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/influencer-dominique-brown-dies-allergic-091744923.html\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">comment<\/a> on her final Instagram post wrote: \u201cI wanted to take a moment to say thank you to her social media fam for showing her so much love and light. Disney did bring her joy, but it was unparalleled that she found a community who loved her and Disney as much as she did. I will miss my sister and best friend and that infectious smile she always had.
