Tony Gonzales that listed \u201cthe number of noncitizens on ICE\u2019s docket convicted or charged with a crime.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tOn the letter, ICE lists 13,099 non-citizens who had been convicted or charged with homicide who are living in the U.S. and who are on ICE\u2019s \u201cnon-detained docket,\u201d but those numbers are from not just the Biden administration but all administrations over the last 40 years, including Trump\u2019s. Plus, not all of those people listed are walking free. The list includes those who are currently in jail or prison but who are not being held in immigration detention.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tWelker confronted Trump with that fact, saying, \u201cThe 13,000 figure I think goes back about 40 years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cNope. No it doesn\u2019t,\u201d Trump said. \u201cIt\u2019s within the three-year period. It\u2019s during the Biden term. No, that was a fiction that they put that out. This was done by the border patrol. It\u2019s 13,099 and it\u2019s during the Biden period of time. And these are murderers, many of whom murdered more than one person. You don\u2019t want those people in this country.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tA Department of Homeland Security spokesperson told CNN in a September email: \u201cThe data in this letter is being misinterpreted. The data goes back decades; it includes individuals who entered the country over the past 40 years or more, the vast majority of whose custody determination was made long before this Administration. Reported crime is trending down in Venezuela \u2014 though not nearly as dramatically as Trump claims \u2014 but crime experts in the country say there are numerous reasons for that and they have nothing to do with sending criminals to the U.S.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"gangs-literally-taking-over-apartment-complexes\" class=\"heading larva \/\/   lrv-a-font-primary-l   \">\n\t\t\u201cI Am the One That Saved Obamacare\u201d\t<\/h2>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tTrump repeated a false claim that he said during the presidential debate, alleging that he \u201cmade it so that it (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/obamacare\/\" id=\"auto-tag_obamacare\" data-tag=\"obamacare\">Obamacare<\/a>) works\u201d and said, \u201cI am the one that saved Obamacare.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tBut as president, Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/politics\/politics-news\/republican-health-care-plan-750976\/\">tried to repeal and roll back<\/a> the Affordable Care Act through multiple channels, including executive action, lawsuits, and Congress.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tOn day one of his first administration, Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/www.presidency.ucsb.edu\/documents\/executive-order-13765-minimizing-the-economic-burden-the-patient-protection-and-affordable\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">signed an executive order<\/a> that stated: \u201cIt is the policy of my Administration to seek the prompt repeal of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.\u201d The order also told government agencies to \u201cexercise all authority and discretion available to them to waive, defer, grant exemptions from, or delay the implementation\u201d of parts of the ACA that constituted a burden. Trump even complained during the <em>Meet the Press<\/em> interview that then-Sen. John McCain was part of the effort that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/politics\/politics-features\/republicans-tried-and-failed-to-repeal-obamacare-in-the-dead-of-night-194861\/\">stopped that bill<\/a> from passing in the Senate. \u201cSo, when John McCain let us down by voting, and [Sens. Lisa] Murkowski and [Susan] Collins, and whoever it was that voted against, but they really let us down,\u201d Trump told Welker.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe Trump administration also joined with 18 Republican state attorneys general to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbpp.org\/research\/health\/suit-challenging-aca-legally-suspect-but-threatens-loss-of-coverage-for-millions\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">legally challenge the ACA<\/a>, but the Supreme Court ruled they lacked standing to sue. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tBut Trump did have one legislative victory when it came to the ACA. He used his tax-reform bill to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/politics\/politics-news\/obamacare-trump-supreme-court-oral-arguments-1088670\/\">get rid of the individual mandate<\/a> by removing tax consequences for the uninsured, rendering the mandate toothless.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tTrump has vowed to replace the ACA with his own healthcare legislation but stuck with his line that he only has \u201cconcepts of a plan\u201d to do so.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cYes. We have concepts of a plan that would be better,\u201d Trump said on <em>Meet the Press<\/em>, adding, \u201cBecause Obamacare stinks. It\u2019s lousy. There are better answers. If we come up with a better answer, I would present that answer to Democrats and to everybody else and I\u2019d do something about it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tHe also said that under his \u201cconcepts of a plan,\u201d people would be able to obtain coverage for pre-existing conditions \u2014 coverage that is protected under the ACA.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"won-t-concede-2020\" class=\"heading larva \/\/   lrv-a-font-primary-l   \">\n\t\tWon\u2019t Concede 2020\t<\/h2>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tWelker asked Trump directly, \u201cFor the sake of unifying this country, will you concede the 2020 election and turn the page on that chapter?\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tBut Trump refused. \u201cNo. No, why would I do that?\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tWelker pushed back, asking, \u201cSir, Democrats have control of the White House now. They didn\u2019t in 2020. If they are going around stealing elections, why didn\u2019t they do it this time\u2026 So why didn\u2019t they steal this election? Since they have more power now?\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cBecause I think it was too big to rig,\u201d Trump said. \u201cIt was too big to rig.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tBut Trump didn\u2019t think his victory would be \u201ctoo big to rig\u201d throughout the campaign, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/politics\/politics-news\/trump-election-fraud-pennsylvania-1235149295\/\">when he falsely claimed<\/a> less than a week before the election that \u201cWe caught them CHEATING BIG in Pennsylvania.
