Although they weren&#8217;t included in Microsoft&#8217;s official <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trueachievements.com\/news\/xbox-game-pass-lineup-december-2024\">Xbox Game Pass December 2024 lineup<\/a> announcement, developers of both games have confirmed that Hunt Showdown 1896 and For The King II will join Game Pass on December 12. <\/p>\n<h2>Hunt: Showdown 1896<\/h2>\n<p>The excellent Hunt: Showdown 1896 brings an unforgiving first-person PvP extraction shooter to Game Pass later this week. Set in a dark corner of the world that has been lost to history, you are tasked with hunting down twisted monsters for a rich bounty. However, aside from gruesome enemies trying to kill you at every turn, you&#8217;ll also need to be on the lookout for other hunters who want to kill you for your loot and your bounty. <\/p>\n<p>Hunt: Showdown 1896 can be played solo or with pals in a team of up to three players. If you missed it earlier this year, developer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trueachievements.com\/news\/hunt-showdown-1896-details\">Crytek shut down the multiplayer shooter on Xbox One<\/a> and relaunched it as an Xbox Series XS-only title. <\/p>\n<h2>For The King II<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Joins Game Pass on<\/b>: December 12, 2024<\/li>\n<li><b>Platforms<\/b>: Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trueachievements.com\/game\/For-The-King-II\/achievements\">For The King II achievements<\/a> have been locked away by Queen Rosomon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A follow-up to the superb For The King, For The King II has you battle against a tyrannical queen in a turn-based roguelite tabletop RPG. Queen Rosomon  has turned against her subjects and forced them into a world of servitude and darkness. Playing either solo or with pals in co-op, you will adventure through Fahrul to take down the despot queen and bring an end to her reign. <\/p>\n<p>With For The King II, developer IronOak Games has added numerous improvements over the original game. Aside from adding a fourth character to a party, the biggest change has been to the game&#8217;s turn-based combat, which now has a new tactical layer by way of a battle grid positioning system. <\/p>\n<p>As for games dropping out of Game Pass, Microsoft recently announced that all of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trueachievements.com\/news\/xbox-game-pass-leaving-soon-december-2024\">games leaving Game Pass in December 2024<\/a>, which includes Rise of the Tomb Raider and Lego 2K Drive. <\/p>\n<p>What do you make of these new Game Pass additions?
