{"id":135252,"date":"2024-12-10T00:04:22","date_gmt":"2024-12-09T17:04:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hotvideos24.online\/?p=135252"},"modified":"2024-12-10T00:04:22","modified_gmt":"2024-12-09T17:04:22","slug":"clusters-of-unidentified-drones-spotted-in-new-york-and-new-jersey-us-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hotvideos24.online\/?p=135252","title":{"rendered":"Clusters of unidentified drones spotted in New York and New Jersey | US news"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-3711241968723425\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\r\n     data-ad-layout-key=\"-fb+5w+4e-db+86\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3711241968723425\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7910942971\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"dcr-1eu361v\">A spate of mysterious drone sightings have been reported in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/us-news\/new-york\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">New York<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/us-news\/philadelphia\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">Philadelphia<\/a> as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/us-news\/fbi\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">FBI<\/a> continues investigating similar sightings across New Jersey over the past month.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1eu361v\">Since <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/nation\/2024\/11\/20\/drone-new-jersey-morris-county\/76450587007\/\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">mid-November<\/a>, local residents in several counties in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/uk-news\/new-jersey\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">New Jersey<\/a> have reported seeing clusters of drones \u2013 and in recent days, additional drone sightings have been reported in parts of <a href=\"https:\/\/6abc.com\/post\/large-drones-spotted-philadelphia-area-fbi-investigates-mysterious-drone-sightings-new-jersey\/15630194\/\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">Pennsylvania <\/a>and New York\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnewyork.com\/news\/local\/new-jersey-drone-mystery-staten-island\/6048971\/\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">Staten Island<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1eu361v\">Local residents in the regions have been <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Kate_inNJ\/status\/1865938416896012786\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">capturing and sharing footage<\/a> online that appears to show <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@krisandersen7\/video\/7445182560658787615?embed_source=%3Bnull%3Bembed_blank&amp;refer=embed&amp;referer_url=www.theverge.com%2F2024%2F12%2F6%2F24314928%2Fnew-jersey-ufo-drones-spotted-fbi-investigation-social-media-speculation&amp;referer_video_id=7445182560658787615\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">drones<\/a> in the sky.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1eu361v\">Last week, the Federal Bureau of Investigation\u2019s Newark office <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fbi.gov\/contact-us\/field-offices\/newark\/news\/fbi-newark-seeks-information-on-drone-sightings\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">announced<\/a> it was actively investigating these sightings and was seeking information from the public.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1eu361v\">\u201cWitnesses have spotted the cluster of what look to be drones and a possible fixed wing aircraft,\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/us-news\/fbi\" data-link-name=\"in body link\" data-component=\"auto-linked-tag\">FBI<\/a> said. \u201cWe have reports from the public and law enforcement dating back several weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1eu361v\">While authorities investigate the reports, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has implemented <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcphiladelphia.com\/news\/local\/faa-imposes-drone-restrictions-after-reports-of-them-flying-over-new-jersey\/4045084\/\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">temporary flight restrictions<\/a> in the areas over <a href=\"https:\/\/tfr.faa.gov\/save_pages\/detail_4_8833.html\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">Picatinny Arsenal military base<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/tfr.faa.gov\/save_pages\/detail_4_7952.html\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">Trump National Golf Club Bedminster<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1eu361v\">The origin of the drones remains unknown. However, state leaders and elected officials have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MorrisCountyProsecutor\/posts\/pfbid02Kk7RMSMKYR6CiZiLNPtL1fA6rchWveDacy2mnw361Ps2JuZyX31bhsmQdmvGcWuyl\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">said <\/a>that they are monitoring the sightings and have assured residents that the drones do not pose any immediate threat to the public.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1eu361v\">In a post on <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/GovMurphy\/status\/1864717982275965389\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">social media last week<\/a>, Phil Murphy, New Jersey\u2019s governor, said that he convened with officials from the Department of Homeland Security as well as local authorities and officials in New Jersey to discuss the reported drone activity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1eu361v\">\u201cWe are actively monitoring the situation and in close coordination with our federal and law enforcement partners on this matter,\u201d the governor said.
