{"id":135398,"date":"2024-12-10T09:42:59","date_gmt":"2024-12-10T02:42:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hotvideos24.online\/?p=135398"},"modified":"2024-12-10T09:42:59","modified_gmt":"2024-12-10T02:42:59","slug":"assad-collapse-in-syria-start-of-chain-reaction-that-ends-with-fall-of-iranian-regime-predicts-fdd-expert","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hotvideos24.online\/?p=135398","title":{"rendered":"Assad Collapse In Syria Start Of Chain Reaction That Ends With \u2018Fall Of Iranian Regime,\u2019 Predicts FDD Expert"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-3711241968723425\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\r\n     data-ad-layout-key=\"-fb+5w+4e-db+86\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3711241968723425\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7910942971\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>On &#8220;Forbes Newsroom,&#8221; Jonathan Conricus, senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, explained why he thinks the end of Bashar al-Assad\u2019s reign in Syria is the start of a chain reaction that will lead to the fall of the Iranian regime.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt&#8217;s a very bad week for the Iranian regime, for the Russian Federation, for Hezbollah, and for the allies of this axis of evil that exist in the Middle East.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Key Assad allies Iran and Russia are widely believed to have overextended themselves economically and militarily in efforts against Israel and Ukraine, respectively, leading to their inability to bolster the embattled Syrian dictator against a successful overthrow by rebels.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Russians and the Iranians, each from their own side and from their own objectives, have invested years and trillions of dollars into propping up the Assad regime,\u201d Conricus told Forbes. \u201cThey have lost this strategic investment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He sees the defeat of Assad as the start of a domino reaction across the Middle East against Iranian proxies. Hezbollah, a key Iranian proxy in Lebanon, is especially wounded by Assad\u2019s fall, Conricus argued.<\/p>\n<p><fbs-ad position=\"inread\" progressive=\"\" ad-id=\"article-0-inread\" aria-hidden=\"true\" role=\"presentation\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey are absolutely dependent on the delivery of weapons and money and personnel from Iran via Syria into Lebanon,\u201d he said. \u201cNow, if Syria isn&#8217;t the same highway of weapons that it used to be, and if they won&#8217;t be able to travel there, then Hezbollah in Lebanon is weakened.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Conricus says Hezbollah being weakened could lead to ethnic and religious minorities in Lebanon to rise up against it, which would further a domino effect that would radically reshape the Middle East.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe end of that chain reaction is the fall of the Iranian regime,\u201d Conricus told Forbes. \u201cThat is where the chain reaction will end.
