{"id":135751,"date":"2024-12-11T08:55:47","date_gmt":"2024-12-11T01:55:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hotvideos24.online\/?p=135751"},"modified":"2024-12-11T08:55:47","modified_gmt":"2024-12-11T01:55:47","slug":"trump-picks-kimberly-guilfoyle-and-tom-barrack-as-ambassadors-to-greece-and-turkey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hotvideos24.online\/?p=135751","title":{"rendered":"Trump picks Kimberly Guilfoyle and Tom Barrack as ambassadors to Greece and Turkey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-3711241968723425\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\r\n     data-ad-layout-key=\"-fb+5w+4e-db+86\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3711241968723425\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7910942971\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"\">President-elect Donald Trump said Tuesday that he would nominate former Fox News personality <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/congress\/kimberly-guilfoyle-partner-donald-trump-jr-interviewed-jan-6-committee-rcna17708\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kimberly Guilfoyle<\/a> and his longtime billionaire friend\u00a0Tom Barrack to serve as ambassadors to Greece and Turkey respectively. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Trump made the announcements in a pair of social media posts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">&#8220;For three decades, Tom successfully managed a global private equity firm,&#8221; Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/posts\/113631075928638837\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote<\/a> of Barrack on Truth Social. &#8220;He is a well respected and experienced voice of reason to a wide range of thought leaders in both political and business circles.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Barrack, who founded the private equity firm Colony Capital and chaired Trump&#8217;s 2017 inaugural committee, was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/justice-department\/jury-finds-trump-friend-tom-barrack-not-guilty-foreign-lobbying-lying-rcna55257\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">acquitted in 2022 of charges<\/a> that he acted as an unregistered foreign agent for the United Arab Emirates during the Trump administration and then made false statements to the FBI.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">In a separate post announcing his selection of Guilfoyle for ambassador to Greece, Trump referred to Guilfoyle, who\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CZ-q_DFM3R0\/?utm_medium=copy_link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced in 2022<\/a>\u00a0that she was engaged to his son, Donald Trump Jr., as a yearslong \u201cclose friend and ally.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">&#8220;Kimberly is perfectly suited to foster strong bilateral relations with Greece, advancing our interests on issues ranging from defense cooperation to trade and economic innovation,&#8221; Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/posts\/113631068297971493\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Both positions require Senate confirmation.
