He is being held in that state on gun charges, while also facing charges in New York related to the murder of Brian Thompson. It has grown and grown, but [h]as our life expectancy?\u201d Mangione continues.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cNo the reality is, these [indecipherable] have simply gotten too powerful, and they continue to abuse our country for immense profit because the American public has allwed them to get away with it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The committee\u2019s press release also notes how United Healthcare, <a onclick=\"_sendArticleBodyInlineLinkClickAnalytics('https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/amyfeldman\/2024\/12\/05\/unitedhealthcare-denies-more-claims-than-other-insurers---angering-patients-and-health-systems\/')\" href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/amyfeldman\/2024\/12\/05\/unitedhealthcare-denies-more-claims-than-other-insurers---angering-patients-and-health-systems\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/amyfeldman\/2024\/12\/05\/unitedhealthcare-denies-more-claims-than-other-insurers---angering-patients-and-health-systems\/\">according to<\/a> <i>Forbes<\/i>, denies about a third of claims, and how Anthem BlueCross BlueShield responded to the shooting by <a onclick=\"_sendArticleBodyInlineLinkClickAnalytics('https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/health-insurer-anthem-blue-cross-blue-shield-scraps-widely-hated-plan-to-cap-anesthesia-use\/')\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/health-insurer-anthem-blue-cross-blue-shield-scraps-widely-hated-plan-to-cap-anesthesia-use\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/health-insurer-anthem-blue-cross-blue-shield-scraps-widely-hated-plan-to-cap-anesthesia-use\/\">backtracking on<\/a> its plan to limit its anesthesia coverage of surgical patients.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cWe do not advocate violence,\u201d Sherman explained, \u201cbut it is striking to see how many patients\u2019 lives have already been improved after this one incident.
