According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apple.com\/newsroom\/2024\/12\/apple-intelligence-now-features-image-playground-genmoji-and-more\/\">Apple\u2019s press release<\/a>, the updates are available now, but we\u2019re not seeing them on our (non-beta) devices yet. However, Image Playground seems to opt for cartoony or stylistic photos instead of photorealistic images, which could prevent potential misuse. Image Playground is available as a standalone app, alongside being integrated into Messages, Freeform, and Keynote. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph mb-20 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1 selection:bg-franklin-20 dark:text-white dark:selection:bg-blurple [&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-franklin dark:[&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-blurple [&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-black dark:[&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-white\">Genmoji allows users to generate their custom emoji images (<em>Emojipedia <\/em>calls them <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.emojipedia.org\/hands-on-with-apples-genmoji-ai-emoji-generator-beta\/\">\u201cemoji-like stickers\u201d<\/a>), which I think could be a big hit in group chats. Features include a compose tool that generates text based on what the user is already writing about and ChatGPT\u2019s text-to-image generation to insert images directly into the document. You don\u2019t need to have a ChatGPT account to use it, but you are able to log in to your account if you want.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph mb-20 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1 selection:bg-franklin-20 dark:text-white dark:selection:bg-blurple [&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-franklin dark:[&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-blurple [&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-black dark:[&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-white\">Other new features in iOS 18.2 include <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2024\/9\/9\/24240094\/apple-visual-intelligence-camera-control-iphone-16-ai-camera-control-google-lens\">Visual Intelligence<\/a>, the ability to share <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2024\/11\/11\/24293654\/apple-ios-18-2-share-airtag-locations\">AirTag locations with a link<\/a>, daily <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2024\/10\/25\/24279430\/daily-sudoku-is-coming-to-apple-news-plus\">sudoku puzzles<\/a> in Apple News Plus, and more. Localized English language support has also been expanded to Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, and the UK, with support for additional languages like Chinese, French, Portuguese, and Spanish.
