She wrote on <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/kimguilfoyle\/status\/1866623893017927923\">social media<\/a> that she looks forward to &#8220;delivering on the Trump agenda, supporting our Greek allies, and ushering in a new era of peace and prosperity.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It was the democratic values born in Greece that helped shape the founding of America,&#8221; she wrote. &#8220;And now, we have an opportunity to honor that history by bringing better days here at home and abroad.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not uncommon for presidents to reward allies <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2020\/08\/18\/903199848\/under-trump-more-big-donors-are-named-ambassadors-and-controversies-have-followe\">with ambassadorships<\/a>.
