He said he had done so to \u201csave the country\u201d from what he called the \u201canti-state\u201d opposition parties. Mr. Yoon said the opposition parties had used their majority in the Assembly to \u201cparalyze\u201d the country.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">Mr. Yoon said his action was part of his constitutional powers as president and did not amount to \u201cinsurrection,\u201d as the opposition has charged.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">\u201cI will fight to the end,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">Mr. Yoon\u2019s People Power Party, which blocked opposition lawmakers\u2019 attempt to impeach him on Saturday, has recommended that he instead resign in February or March.
