Finally, the \u201cStudio \u201c panel lets you access the Audio Overview, Study Guide, Briefing Doc, notes, and more. The goal of this redesign is to make it \u201ceasier than ever to switch between those different activities in a single, unified interface.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Audio Overviews are getting a new \u201cInteractive mode\u201d (in beta) to \u201cJoin\u201d a conversation. This goes beyond the initial prompting and lets you ask the \u201chosts for more details or to explain a concept differently\u201d with your voice after you\u2019re called on (\u201cI think our listener has got something to say\u201d).<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>It\u2019s like having a personal tutor or guide who listens attentively, and then responds directly, drawing from the knowledge in your sources.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>This is gradually rolling out to new Audio Overviews and Google warns how as an experiment \u201chosts may also pause awkwardly before responding and may occasionally introduce inaccuracies.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed alignwide is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Join and interact with NotebookLM Audio Overviews\" width=\"1170\" height=\"658\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/SE753Tm913s?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Finally, NotebookLM Plus is launching today for enterprise. It\u2019s meant for organizations\/businesses \u201cvia\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/workspaceupdates.googleblog.com\/2024\/12\/notebooklm-plus-gemini-for-google-workspace-users.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Google Workspace<\/a>\u00a0or can be purchased separately via\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cloud.google.com\/resources\/notebooklm-enterprise\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Google Cloud<\/a>.,\u201d but it\u2019s also coming to Google One AI Premium ($19.99 per month) in early 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Users will get \u201c5x\u201d more Audio Overviews (3 on free vs 20 with Plus), 500 (versus 100) notebooks, 500 (vs. 50) chat queries per day, and 300 (vs. 50) sources per notebook,\u201d as well as premium features <a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/notebooklm\/answer\/15678219\">like<\/a>:<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Sharing a \u201cChat-only\u201d notebook \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>You can customize how you share your notebook with other users now. You can give others access to the entire notebook including sources and notes, or give them chat-only access. You can also select the output length (for example, \u2018Longer\u2019 or \u2018Shorter\u2019).
