her spokesman Ian Kreger said in a statement.<!-- --><\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-eb7bd5f6-0 fYAfXe\">Pelosi, 84, was airlifted by the US military to a hospital in Germany after she reportedly tripped and fell on stairs while attending an official event on Friday.<!-- --><\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-eb7bd5f6-0 fYAfXe\">The California Democratic congresswoman was travelling with a bipartisan delegation of lawmakers to Luxembourg to mark the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge.<!-- --><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-component=\"text-block\">\n<p class=\"sc-eb7bd5f6-0 fYAfXe\">Pelosi thanked both US military staff at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany and medical staff at Hospital Kirchberg in Luxembourg.<!-- --><\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-eb7bd5f6-0 fYAfXe\">&#8220;Speaker Pelosi is enjoying the overwhelming outpouring of prayers and well wishes and is ever determined to ensure access to quality health care for all Americans,&#8221; the statement added.<!-- --><\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-eb7bd5f6-0 fYAfXe\">She has withdrawn from the rest of the events she had scheduled for the trip.<!-- --><\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-eb7bd5f6-0 fYAfXe\">In an earlier statement on Friday, Mr Kreger said Pelosi was looking forward to returning home to the US soon and was continuing to work from hospital.<!-- --><\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-eb7bd5f6-0 fYAfXe\">The delegation she was travelling with in Luxembourg is scheduled to take part in anniversary events along with veterans, their families and military officials.<!-- --><\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-eb7bd5f6-0 fYAfXe\">One of the congressmen on the trip, Michael McCaul, said he was disappointed Pelosi would not be able to join the delegation&#8217;s weekend events.<!-- --><\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-eb7bd5f6-0 fYAfXe\">&#8220;But she is strong, and I am confident she will be back on her feet in no time,&#8221;
