She was 67. <\/p>\n<p>A rep for the late star confirmed Delano\u2019s death to The Post on Monday. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2024\/12\/16\/northern-exposure-actress-diane-delano-dies-67\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TMZ<\/a> was first to report the news. <\/p>\n<p>Delano passed away at her home in Los Angeles on Friday following a brief illness. Her official cause of death has not been released. <\/p>\n<p>The actress played Sergeant Barbara Semanski on \u201cNorthern Exposure,\u201d which ran from 1990 until 1995. <\/p>\n<figure She began acting in films <a href=\"https:\/\/press.wbd.com\/ca\/bio\/bio-diane-delano?language_content_entity=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in 1983.<\/a><\/p>\n<figure
