href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/louisiana\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Louisiana<\/a> has been shut down in both directions after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/fog\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fog<\/a> is believed to have caused numerous crashes Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">According to a report from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox8live.com\/2024\/12\/17\/up-40-50-vehicles-separate-crashes-cause-closure-causeway-both-directions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">FOX 8<\/a>, between 40 and 50 vehicles are believed to have been involved, and multiple people were said to have been injured.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\"><a Tammany Parish Sheriff\u2019s Office <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/stpso\/posts\/pfbid02EGkftFKs8nyc6Stzig9bmci3rUzsKmGTP4ngJkeJgzpsMYn5END98kZcEcuc5Shbl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">said in a post on Facebook<\/a> that significant traffic delays were expected, and drivers were told to consider another route while work to clear the debris continued into Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">The National Weather Service office in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/louisiana\/new-orleans\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New Orleans<\/a> said\u00a0there had been areas of fog in locations along and east of Interstate 55, including coastal communities in Louisiana and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/mississippi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mississippi<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">Forecasters urged caution for those <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">traveling<\/a> before the fog was expected to dissipate later Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\"><a
