In 2022, the company released \u201cLightyear,\u201d which featured a same-sex kiss, and \u201cStrange World,\u201d centered on a gay teenage boy. That same year, the company\u2019s chief executive at the time, Bob Chapek, faced criticism when he refused to condemn anti-L.G.B.T.Q. legislation in Florida. Iger, Mr. Chapek\u2019s predecessor, returned to Disney as chief executive in late 2022, he said some of the company\u2019s shows and movies had become too political and ordered a review of projects in the works. Last year, the company decided not to release an episode from the animated Disney Channel show \u201cMoon Girl and Devil Dinosaur\u201d that focused on a recurring transgender character\u2019s interest in sports.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">\u201cWin or Lose\u201d was created by Michael Yates, Carrie Hobson and David Lally.
