Although Red Bull\u2019s competitiveness also dipped, Max Verstappen scored 301 points and picked up five race wins across the same span.<\/p>\n<p>Perez ended the year 285 points behind teammate Verstappen, and the disparity between the two was one of the reasons Red Bull finished third in the constructors\u2019 championship behind McLaren and Ferrari.<\/p>\n<p>It has now been confirmed that an agreement has been reached for Perez to leave the team immediately. And remember\u2026 Never give up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With Lawson expected to be Perez\u2019s replacement, RB is likely to promote Red Bull junior Isack Hadjar into a race seat following his second-place finish in the Formula 2 championship this season.<\/p>\n<p>As it stands Perez will not race in 2025, but he becomes one of a number of experienced drivers on the market ahead of Cadillac\u2019s planned F1 entry in 2026.
