Isolated areas in the mountains and foothills will see gusts of 80-100 mph.<\/p>\n<div data-v-b8684aba=\"\">\n<div class=\"freeform-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"100%\" src=\"https:\/\/media.foxweather.com\/weather\/West%20Wind%20Gust%20and%20Swath%20Forecast2.png\"\/><figcaption>Here is the wind forecast for Southern California.<br \/><strong>(FOX Weather)<\/strong><\/figcaption><hr\/>\n<p>\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">Flights going in and out of LAX can expect <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">delays<\/a> as forecasters warn of &#8220;quite dangerous&#8221; mountain waves for pilots. Airlines and pilots are being urged not to fly near terrain during the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/windstorm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">windstorm<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">The widespread damaging winds and low <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/humidity\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">humidity<\/a> are also leading to extreme fire concerns across most of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.<\/p>\n<div data-v-b8684aba=\"\">\n<div class=\"freeform-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"100%\" src=\"https:\/\/media.foxweather.com\/weather\/SoCal%20Fire%20Weather%20Alerts.png\"\/><figcaption>Here are the Fire Weather Warnings for Southern California.<br \/><strong>(FOX Weather)<\/strong><\/figcaption><hr\/>\n<p>\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">NWS Los Angeles said that due to the severity, they expect to issue Particularly Dangerous Situation (PDS) Fire Weather Warnings.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">NWS Los Angeles said that Tuesday\u2019s windstorm has the potential to be the strongest wind event since 2011.
