(Courtesy: U.S. Coast Guard \/TMX)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\"><strong>KALSKAG, Ala. <\/strong>\u2013 One teen is dead, and another was able to climb out of an icy river after a tragic snowmobile accident in southwestern <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/alaska\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alaska<\/a> over the weekend.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">Alaska State Troopers said two teens were riding a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/snow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">snow<\/a> machine on the evening of Jan. 4 when they drove it into an open hole on the Kuskokwim River about 8 miles north of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/alaska\/lower-kalskag\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kalskag<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">Cole Gilila, 15, disappeared under the ice, and the other teen was able to climb out of the river. The surviving teen flagged down a truck and was taken to a clinic in Kalskag.
