However, the need remains great, and they are still receiving requests for specific items such as backpacks, school supplies, and in-home medical equipment, Davis said.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">As donations arrived daily, their home quickly became a bustling hub of activity, overflowing with kindness. The couple said family and friends from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/california\/pasadena\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pasadena<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/california\/altadena\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Altadena<\/a> have now rallied together to help them coordinate and organize the outpouring of support.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">&#8220;It\u2019s truly amazing,&#8221; Davis said.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">To accommodate, the couple relocated their distribution center to Star Suites in nearby <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/california\/sherman-oaks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sherman Oaks<\/a>. The temporary pickup center will be open from noon to 5 p.m. until Friday.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/extreme-weather\/altadena-house-survive-wildfire-california-2025\"><strong>ALTADENA MAN FINDS THAT HIS HOUSE WAS ONLY ONE IN NEIGHBORHOOD TO SURVIVE WILDFIRE: &#8216;WHY DO I DESERVE THIS?&#8217;<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">&#8220;Altadena raised me,&#8221; Davis said to her online followers. &#8220;My city is gone, and my heart is broken.
