href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/severe-weather\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">severe weather<\/a> with the initial focus on the Texarkana region before the threat of hazardous weather expands to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/mississippi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mississippi<\/a> and Tennessee Valleys.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">Communities such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/arkansas\/little-rock\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Little Rock<\/a>, Jonesboro and Fort Smith in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/arkansas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arkansas<\/a> are all in the enhanced to moderate risk zone for severe storms, with the general thunderstorm threat zone stretching for hundreds of miles, placing nearly 50 million under the gun.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">The round of thunderstorms is expected to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/weather-news\/why-relentless-severe-weather-flooding-pattern-stuck-ohio-tennessee-valleys\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">develop due to a stalled weather pattern<\/a> \u2013 the same one that has produced rounds of significant weather for the Mississippi and Ohio Valleys over the past few days.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/weather-news\/why-relentless-severe-weather-flooding-pattern-stuck-ohio-tennessee-valleys\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>WHY IS THIS RELENTLESS SEVERE WEATHER PATTERN STUCK OVER THE EASTERN HALF OF THE US?<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">While the daylight hours of Thursday were quieter in terms of severe weather, the overall weather pattern remains active.<\/p>\n<div data-v-b8684aba=\"\">\n<div class=\"freeform-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"100%\" SEVERE WEATHER PATTERN STUCK OVER THE EASTERN HALF OF THE US?<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">The Storm Prediction Center received nearly 700 reports of severe weather from Wednesday\u2019s storm, making it the most active weather day since 2012.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">With the renewed threat of hail, damaging winds and strong tornadoes possibly rating EF-2 or higher, expect the SPC to be busy again issuing severe weather watch boxes by late Friday evening and into the early hours of Saturday.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">These watches will likely start west of the Mississippi River, moving eastward across the mid-South, but the exact location of severe thunderstorm development will depend on the location of frontal boundaries.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">The location of the frontal boundaries will determine where the greatest ingredients for supercells exist.<\/p>\n<div data-v-b8684aba=\"\">\n<div class=\"freeform-content\"><img Tennessee, Kentucky and Arkansas<\/a>.
