FOX Weather Meteorologist Jane Minar said areas that didn&#8217;t see flooding over the severe weather event may see flooding later this week.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">As a record rain event comes to an end for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/mississippi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mississippi<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/ohio\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ohio<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/tennessee\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tennessee<\/a> valleys, flooding impacts will continue this week as floodwaters flow into streams and rivers, likely causing more <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/flood\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">flooding<\/a> in previously spared areas.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">The FOX Forecast Center said the storm system that brought <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/weather-news\/flooding-severe-weather-threat-tennessee-missouri-kentucky-arkansas-texas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">six Flash Flood Emergencies<\/a> and a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/weather-news\/severe-weather-tornado-outbreak-flooding-southeast-deaths\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">deadly tornado outbreak<\/a> across multiple states since last week will finally exit off the East Coast by Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">Over a foot of rain fell in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/weather-news\/home-swept-kentucky-river-flooding\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kentucky<\/a>, western Tennessee and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/arkansas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arkansas<\/a> throughout this event. Now, all this water needs to go somewhere.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/weather-news\/flooding-severe-weather-threat-tennessee-missouri-kentucky-arkansas-texas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><u>CATASTROPHIC RAIN TRIGGERS FLOOD EMERGENCIES, EVACUATIONS ON FOURTH STRAIGHT DAY OF RELENTLESS STORMS SATURDAY<\/u><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">Meanwhile, more than 50 river locations are currently experiencing or expected to reach major flood stage over the next few days, and another 90 river locations are forecast to reach moderate flood stage.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div data-v-b8684aba=\"\">\n<div class=\"freeform-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"100%\" src=\"https:\/\/media.foxweather.com\/weather\/Central%20River%20Stages%20Now.png\"\/><fig-caption>Rivers at major flood stage are indicated by the purple placemarks.<br \/><strong>(FOX Weather)<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<p>\u00a0<\/fig-caption><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">FOX Weather Meteorologist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/person\/m\/jane-minar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jane Minar<\/a> said all this rain will eventually flow into major rivers, including the Ohio River and Mississippi River.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/weather-news\/why-relentless-severe-weather-flooding-pattern-stuck-ohio-tennessee-valleys\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><u>WHY IS THIS RELENTLESS SEVERE WEATHER PATTERN STUCK OVER EASTERN HALF OF THE US?<\/u><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">&#8220;So that means other tributary streams and creeks downstream of where all of this heavy rain has fallen is going to start to flow in, and that big flow into our major rivers is what is going to ultimately lead to more water rises, and we are expecting significant river flooding over the next several days for this upcoming week,&#8221; Minar said. &#8220;We can expect to see some concerns for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/business\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">businesses<\/a> and buildings, just driving along the way as well.
