Hagan said it took them more than five hours to bury the van.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/extreme-weather\/woman-seeks-shelter-from-tornado-survives-hiding-closet\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>MISSISSIPPI WOMAN SURVIVES TORNADO BY HUNKERING IN CLOSET<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">Hagan and Rolley, along with Rolley&#8217;s wife and son, all took shelter in the dirt-covered van when they heard <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/tornadoes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tornadoes<\/a> were in the area.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">Hagan said the group stayed in the van for about an hour and a half during the Tornado Warnings. They also stocked the van with drinks and snacks.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">The van still had a battery, so they could operate the interior lights.
