Over 100 million Americas are under this threat through Sunday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\"><strong>OMAHA, Neb. <\/strong>\u2013 Round after round of severe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/thunderstorms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thunderstorms<\/a> starting Thursday, capable of producing large <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/hail\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hail<\/a>, damaging <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/wind\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">winds<\/a> and isolated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/tornadoes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tornadoes<\/a>, are forecast to impact the central and eastern <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">U.S.<\/a>, potentially disrupting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/holiday\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">holiday<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">travel<\/a> and any <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/outdoors\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">outdoor<\/a> Easter weekend activities.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">The FOX Forecast Center said ongoing storms continue to push east Thursday morning through the Kansas City, Missouri, metro as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/learn\/warm-front-definition-surface-map\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">warm front<\/a> lifts northeast through the region. These storms are expected to weaken as they push their way through Missouri and may continue to produce isolated hail to the size of quarters through the morning.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/how-to-watch-fox-weather-on-tv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>HOW TO WATCH FOX WEATHER<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<div data-v-b8684aba=\"\">\n<div class=\"freeform-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"100%\" src=\"https:\/\/media.foxweather.com\/weather\/Digital_Radar.gif\"\/><figcaption>Three-hour radar loop. However, as these storms move east, some weakening is expected.<\/p>\n<h2 data-v-4e81e892=\"\"><strong>Severe weather shifts east by Good Friday<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">By Friday, the threat of severe weather will shift east and expand from the southern Plains into the Great Lakes region. Numerous thunderstorms are expected to develop in the afternoon and evening.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">The FOX Forecast Center said the environment will support a broad area of severe storms, potentially affecting a large area extending from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/michigan\/detroit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Detroit<\/a> to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/illinois\/chicago\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chicago<\/a> southwestward to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/missouri\/kansas-city\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kansas City<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/missouri\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Missouri<\/a>; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/oklahoma\/oklahoma-city\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oklahoma City<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/oklahoma\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oklahoma<\/a>; and northwest of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/texas\/dallas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dallas<\/a>&#8211;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/texas\/fort-worth\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fort Worth<\/a> Metroplex in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/texas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Texas<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">These storms will primarily pack a damaging wind and large hail threat. The tornado risk, while not zero, will be low due to a lack of individual supercells. Scattered severe storms seem possible from central Texas into the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/ohio\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ohio<\/a> Valley on Saturday afternoon and evening. These morning storms could &#8220;eat up&#8221; the available energy in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/atmosphere\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">atmosphere<\/a> and limit activity later in the day. Should the storms develop, damaging wind gusts of up to 60 mph and hail are the main concerns.
