FOX Weather Meteorologist Zack Green breaks it all down on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\"><strong>BARBERTON, Ohio<\/strong> \u2013 The life of a 21-year-old <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/ohio\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ohio<\/a> man came to a sudden end when a large tree, brought down by strong <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/winds\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">winds<\/a>, crashed into his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">home<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">Noah Hall was discovered in his bedroom after first responders arrived at the scene in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/ohio\/barberton\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Barberton<\/a> about 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, the <a href=\"https:\/\/co.summitoh.net\/departments\/Medical-Examiner.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Summit County Medical Examiner\u2019s Office<\/a> confirmed to FOX Weather.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">Authorities said that Hall was found in bed with a portion of the fallen tree resting on him. Despite the rapid response of emergency personnel, he was pronounced dead at the scene about two hours later, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/photo\/?fbid=1119752106853841&amp;set=a.307171934778533\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Barberton Fire Department<\/a> said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">An autopsy has been conducted to determine the precise cause of death, according to the medical examiner.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.weather.gov\/wrh\/timeseries?site=KAKR&amp;hours=72\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Data from a weather reporting station in nearby Akron<\/a> recorded a peak wind gust of 40 mph around the time of the incident. The specific type and size of the tree involved has not yet been released.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">Barberton Mayor William B. Judge issued a statement Wednesday, thanking the emergency crews and a local tree and crane service for their timely and professional assistance.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">&#8220;Their efforts have truly exemplified service and care during these challenging times,&#8221; he said. &#8220;As we move forward, let us draw strength from one another and lean on the shared sense of connection that defines Barberton.
