Hurricane John Landfall Near Mexico Tourist Hotspot

People in Mexico’s southern Pacific region were urged to seek higher ground before Hurricane John made landfall Monday night. The storm rapidly intensified before that landfall, hitting with maximum sustained winds of 120 mph.
