Packers list QB Jordan Love, CB Jaire Alexander questionable vs. Vikings
GREEN BAY – The Packers have listed quarterback Jordan Love (knee) and cornerback Jaire Alexander (quadricep/groin) as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Tackle/guard Jordan Morgan has been ruled out with a shoulder injury. Cornerback Carrington Valentine (ankle) is doubtful after not practicing Friday.
It was the second consecutive week Love practiced in a limited capacity. If Love isn’t cleared, Malik Willis would make his third consecutive start after helping guide Green Bay to wins over the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans.
“Anytime he’s out there, that’s encouraging, but again we’ll see,” said LaFleur of Love after Friday’s practice.
Alexander was limited on Wednesday and Thursday before not participating in Friday’s practice. The seventh-year cornerback has 11 tackles and two interceptions this season.
“That’s a concern, for sure,” said LaFleur of Alexander not practicing Friday. “Any time a guy doesn’t practice, it’s definitely a concern.”
The Packers didn’t issue a game status for the following players who are all expected to be available: defensive lineman Kenny Clark (toe), guard Elgton Jenkins (rest), tight end Tucker Kraft (shoulder), tight end Luke Musgrave (quadricep), center Josh Myers (shoulder), receiver Jayden Reed (calf/quadricep), tackle Zach Tom (quadricep), and defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt (shoulder).
Minnesota has ruled out linebacker Ivan Pace Jr. (ankle).
The Vikings didn’t issue a game status for the following players who are expected to be available: quarterback Sam Darnold (knee), receiver Jordan Addison (ankle), center Garrett Bradbury (ankle), safety Jay Ward (knee), defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard (knee), tackle Christian Darrisaw (illness), linebacker Dallas Turner (knee), linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill, and tight end Josh Oliver (wrist).
