NOAA Legends: Paul Trotter

For NOAA’s 50th anniversary, we interviewed NOAA Legends: people of color who were “firsts” in NOAA science. Paul Trotter was the Meteorologist-In-Charge of the New Orleans National Weather Service office during the landfall of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. During his 36-year career, Trotter served as a mentor and left a legacy of focusing on people and fulfilling NOAA’s mission through teamwork.
