Every character gets used in ECT 2024’s top 128 with only six disappearances going into the top 32 for Street Fighter 6
East Coast Throwdown 2024 is one of the major fighting game tournaments happening this weekend. Being that this is another Premier Event for the Capcom Pro Tour 2024, over 600 competitors have signed up to play Street Fighter 6.
Notably, SNK’s Terry Bogard, who recently joined the Street Fighter 6 roster, is legal to use at East Coast Throwdown 2024. Could Terry end up being a top contender in Street Fighter 6’s meta? One way to find out is to look at the character usage stats for this event.
As it turns out, Terry is only being used as a main by three players within the top 128 portion of the bracket. One more competitor is using his as a secondary.
Of course, all Terry users have been eliminated before the top 32 portion of the bracket. Liquid|Riddles and Ramsey ended up getting the furthest with the SNK rep as they both tied at 33rd place.
Akuma ended up being the most popular character in the top 128 with 12 players in total representing him. However, M. Bison, Rashid, and Dee Jay end up tying for the most representation beyond the top 32 portion of the bracket.
It’s interesting to note that every single character saw usage in the top 128. In the top 32, only Terry, Ryu, JP, E. Honda, Marisa, and Jamie were absent.
