Search for survivors as communities struggle one week after Helene



Authorities are still searching for survivors of the flooding disaster in North Carolina and other parts of the Southeast, one week after Hurricane Helene ripped through the region. More than 220 people are reported dead. NBC News’ Sam Brock reports from North Carolina.

Former President Trump returned to the storm zone in Georgia, and his new criticism of the Biden administration’s response the flooding disaster drew pushback from the White House. Vice President Harris was in battleground Michigan and will campaign with former President Obama next week. NBC News’ Garrett Haake reports
