Rare summer snow hits California

Some of California’s mountains were treated to their first August snow in 20 years over the weekend while millions of Americans sweltered through continued high heat. A storm not only ushered in November-like temperatures in the Golden State, but also November-like snow. Snow is more common after later September in California’s peaks, so even the ski resorts were surprised to see it. #CNN #News #California #Weather
