First Portland, then Philly gets its own Trump statue. It also did not last long

A mocking statute of former president Donald Trump has appeared in at least one other city besides Portland.

A statue of the Republican nominee for president popped up next to Portland’s iconic bronze nude statue at Southwest 6th Avenue between Alder and Morrison streets over the weekend. The pedestal included a quote from Trump’s “Access Hollywood” interview in which he bragged about sexually assaulting women. The statue was beheaded and then removed entirely by the end of the day Monday.

A gold-colored Trump statue popped up in Philadelphia, also near a statue of a nude woman, Wednesday, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported. The plaque on the base of the statue included the same quote from the “Access Hollywood” tape. City workers in Philadelphia removed the statue the same day, the Inquirer reported.
