Poll: So, Will You Be Getting Xenoblade Chronicles X For Switch?

They’d have to SIGNIFICANTLY improve how the story is told for me to care about X tbh. I had fun with the game when it first released but in retrospect that must’ve been a bad case of stockholm syndrome because there was nothing else like it on Wii U.

The gameplay isn’t really fun until you unlock the mechs and the overclock gear and it stops being fun ten hours later when you break combat in half.

The story is more of an outline you’d have ready BEFORE you start working on..the actual story and the game straight up ends on its climax. They tease the after credits scene in the switch reveal, so maybe they’ll actually finish that part of the game this time.

The world is pretty and the enemy types are pretty unique and cool. But it’s also empty as can get.

The music is hit or miss. For me it misses more than it hits but I can see why people would enjoy a lot of the songs I dislike.

Overall, a really hard sell to me. And I’m the sucker who bought the Siren building kit, all amiibo and collector editions for the rest of the series.
Hell, I got the collector’s edition for X on Wii U but I just don’t care for that game at this point.
