Bellevue house explosion injures 5 people


A house explosion near South 48th Avenue & Robin Drive sent three people to the hospital Thursday night. Sarpy County officials confirmed all three of the victims were in critical condition. Firefighters from the Bellevue, Papillion and Omaha departments responded to the scene around 10:30 p.m.Bellevue fire officials said the home that exploded was a duplex.The cause was people cooking with propane in the garage, officials said.The Red Cross was requested to help those impacted.
