Donald Trump has won the Indiana contest, NBC News projects, and secured the state’s 11 Electoral College votes. In 2020, Trump won Indiana with 57% of the vote to Biden’s 41%. In 2016, Trump won Indiana with 57% to Hillary Clinton’s 38%. Though Indiana typically votes for Republicans in presidential elections, the state flipped in 2008 to back Barack Obama, the first time it had voted for a Democratic candidate since 1964.
