Palestinian flag bearer reflects on her responsibility at the Olympics
In an interview with CNN’s Amanda Davies, Palestinian swimmer and flag bearer Valerie Tarazi says she was inspired by Majed Abu Maraheel in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, the first ever Palestinian Olympian and flag bearer who reportedly died in the Nuseirat refugee camp in Gaza earlier this year due to kidney failure. #cnn #news
