FBI says it stopped attempt on Trump’s life

The FBI says it thwarted an assassination attempt on President-elect Donald Trump. The FBI says the plot is tied to a member of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, which the U.S. considers a terrorist organization. It comes as Trump’s decisive margin of victory expands and the special counsel pauses the election interference case against Trump. NBC News’ Garrett Haake reports.
