The Brazilian prospect, who missed weight for each of her first two UFC appearances in the strawweight division, looked sharp on the feet in the first, landing the heavier shots before putting Hardy on the deck late in the frame. In the second, Moura went to the takedown early, keeping Hardy pinned to the canvas for the majority of the frame before the third played out similarly to the first.
All three judges scored the fight for Moura, who moved to 2-1 in the UFC and 11-1 overall with the win, halting Hardy’s three-fight winning streak in the process. She looked fit, healthy, and powerful in her 125-pound debut, and is one to keep an eye on going forward in the talent-rich flyweight division.
