Blake Snell signing with Dodgers five-year $182 million deal

Left-handed pitcher Blake Snell has reached a deal with the Dodgers.

The now-former Giants starter agreed to a five-year, $182 million contract on Tuesday night, The Post’s John Heyman confirmed.

The deal is pending a physical and Snell will receive a $52 million signing bonus, according to Heyman.

The deal with the Dodgers includes “some” deferred money, The Athletic reported.

The Dodgers rotation will include the lefty along with a presumably healthy Shohei Ohtani, Tyler Glasnow, Clayton Kershaw, Dustin May, Tony Gonsolin and Bobby Miller, and LA is the favorite to land Roki Sasaki, Heyman reported.

It is believed that one of the teams the Dodgers beat out for Snell’s services was the Red Sox.

According to Heyman, the Yankees had a zoom call with Blake Snell earlier in the day, but their near total focus is on Juan Soto as their Plan Bs will be waiting a bit.

The former Cy Young winner is coming off a season in which he went 5-3 for San Francisco with a 3.12 ERA in 20 starts.

Snell struck out 145 batters during104 innings pitched and managed to turn things around in the second half of the season following a slow start to the year due to an injury.

The lefty had a 9.51 ERA through six starts going into July with the Giant.

He returned from an IL stint in early July and posted a 1.23 ERA in his final 14 starts of the season.

Snell had gone into the offseason as one of the top free agent arms on the market.
