New information released as task force looks into burglary at Joe Burrow’s house

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – New information has been released in regard to the burglary at Bengals QB Joe Burrow’s house.

The incident is now being investigated by the Southwest Ohio Burglary Task Force. The task force was formed after a string of burglaries targeted several affluent neighborhoods in Hamilton County.

It’s believed that those burglaries are tied to a Chilean burglary ring. At the time, law enforcement agencies in the area warned that the burglars were targeting affluent neighborhoods, casing homes, and then breaking in and taking, in some cases, hundreds of thousands of dollars in jewelry, cash, and handbags.

There’s been no word on if the Burrow break-in is related to that same group.

The incident also comes as the NFL and other sports leagues have put their star players on alert for possible break-ins and burglaries following thefts at the homes of Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
