ABC News meets children injured by Russian strikes in Ukraine – ABC News

Russia has drastically stepped up its air attacks on Ukrainian cities in recent months. ABC News’ Ian Pannell met children injured in strikes being treated in a hospital in northern Ukraine.

Fifteen-year-old Rostislav was badly injured when a Russian ballistic missile strike destroyed his apartment block. He was barely able to turn his head, with shrapnel all over his body.

“This is my home. I can’t leave this place,” Rostislav said.
