Marshon Lattimore: Saints traded me, I want to show them they shouldn’t have
Cornerback Marshon Lattimore will be in familiar surroundings for his first game as a member of the Commanders.
The Commanders are going to be in New Orleans to face Lattimore’s former team at the Superdome. The Saints dealt Lattimore to the Commanders last month and he has been out with a hamstring injury, but said on Friday that he is “feeling good, ready to play.”
Lattimore also said that he’s feeling extra juiced about making his return to action against the Saints.
“I’d be lying if I said it didn’t,” Lattimore said, via John Keim of ESPN.com. “They traded me away; going back to show them why they shouldn’t have. I’m happy where I’m at but you know how it be, extra motivation for the game.”
Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said that Lattimore is going to start on Sunday, so he’ll have ample opportunity to show the Saints what they’re missing.
