Cambodia is a step nearer to its landmine-free standing after the open fields of 1 commune and 4 villages in Kampong Speu province, a former battlefield, had been declared now not contaminated with landmines and different UXOs yesterday.
This was made doable with funds donated by the Malaysian Enterprise Chamber of Cambodia (MBCC) for the demining actions in these areas which has made it protected for the locals to maneuver about freely and have extra arable land to enhance their residing.
