Samsung customer care wants you really excited for One UI 7 beta

Samsung customer support has long been a laughing stock when it comes to its ability to provide accurate information about release dates of upcoming One UI beta updates, but it’s a reputation they proudly wear on their sleeves.

That is probably why customer support at Samsung India is now telling inquiring users the release dates for not one, not two, but three One UI 7.0 beta updates for the Galaxy S24 lineup.

Samsung One UI 7 beta schedule

If a customer service representative is to be believed, Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra buyers in India can expect the first One UI 7 beta update today, the second one on December 23, and the third one on December 30. Whether the updates will actually roll out on the aforementioned dates is extremely doubtful.

The representative does point out that delays are possible, but still, this is the kind of information that can get people unnecessarily excited and is something Samsung customer support should refrain from providing.

Thankfully, it won’t be more than a few hours before we find out if the first of those dates is accurate. India and Poland were initially rumored to get the One UI 7 beta on December 12, but the release was then pushed to December 16.

The first beta build for India and Poland will be the second build for users in Germany, Korea, the United States, and the United Kingdom. China will also get the beta eventually but will likely get updates with different build numbers than the other beta-eligible markets.
